Assistant Avionics/Electrical Technician - HC-130H - Contingent upon award

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Position Description
Experience and Qualification - The Assistant Avionics/Electrical Technician shall possess the following:
(i) Minimum of 5 years avionics experience on large transport category aircraft with two years' experience on C-130/L-382. C-130/L-382 experience must have been within the last 10 years.
(ii) Documented experience and training in aircraft communication systems such as, VHF-AM, VHF-FM and V/UHF. Training provided by a USCG utilized commercially off the Shelf (COTS) training provider will meet this requirement.
(iii) Documented experience and training in aircraft navigation systems such as VOL/ILS, TACAN, DF, ADF, GPS, Inertial, RADALT, IFF, GPWS and TCAS. Training provided by a USCG utilized commercially off the Shelf (COTS) or training provider will meet this requirement, and
(iv) Documented experience and training in aircraft RADAR, Flight Director and Autopilot systems. Training provided by a USCG utilized commercially off the Shelf (COTS) training provider will meet this requirement.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Avionics techs shall be capable of satisfactorily performing the following duties:
(i) Interface with USCG and USFS personnel,
(ii) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC-130H ICS, VHF-AM, VHF-FM, V/UHF, aircraft communication systems IAW the Aviation Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) and applicable technical publications,
(iii) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC-130H VOL/ILS, TACAN, DF, ADF, GPS, Inertial, RADALT, IFF, GPWS and TCAS navigation systems IAW the USCG/DoD Technical orders,
(iv) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC-130H Radar systems IAW USCG/DoD Technical orders,
(v) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC-130H Flight Director Systems IAW USCG/DoD Technical orders,
(vi) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC130H Automatic Flight Systems IAW the USCG/DoD Technical orders,
(vii) Troubleshoot repair and maintain MIL-STD-1553 Data Bus systems,
(viii) Troubleshoot repair and maintain Pitot-Static systems to include Altimeters, Airspeed indicators and Vertical Velocity Indicators,
(ix) Troubleshoot repair and maintain HC-130H Communication-Navigation Management System (CNMS),
(x) Troubleshoot repair and maintain Flight Data Acquisition System (FDAU) and Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorder (CVDR), and
(xi) Other aircraft maintenance and aviation related duties as assigned



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
